Enjoy crispy, spicy cauliflower bites made in your air fryer, coated in a tangy buffalo sauce. This vegetarian appetizer is a healthier alternative to traditional buffalo wings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing, for serving
  • Celery sticks, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, toss cauliflower florets with olive oil, flour, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Place coated cauliflower in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  3. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown, flipping halfway through.
  4. While the cauliflower is cooking, whisk together buffalo sauce, melted butter, and honey (if using) in a medium bowl.
  5. Once the cauliflower is cooked, add it to the bowl with the buffalo sauce mixture. Toss gently to coat.
  6. Return the coated cauliflower to the air fryer basket and air fry for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce is slightly thickened.
  7. Serve immediately with ranch or blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.

Notes

  • For extra crispy bites, you can double-coat the cauliflower.
  • Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to your spice preference.
  • Feel free to add a pinch of garlic powder or onion powder to the flour mixture for extra flavor.
