Enjoy these delightful Air Fryer Churro Bites, a quick and easy treat perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings. Made in the air fryer, these bites are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, served with a rich chocolate sauce for dipping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • For the Chocolate Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it together to seal any perforations.
  3. Cut the dough into bite-sized pieces, about 1 inch square.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  5. In another small bowl, melt the butter.
  6. Dip each churro bite into the melted butter, then roll it in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until evenly coated.
  7. Place the coated churro bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they don’t touch. You may need to cook in batches.
  8. Air fry for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  9. While the churro bites are cooking, prepare the chocolate sauce. In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and heavy cream.
  10. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  11. Serve the warm churro bites immediately with the chocolate sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For an extra decadent sauce, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the chocolate sauce.
  • You can substitute almond extract for a different flavor profile.
  • If you don’t have crescent roll dough, you can use biscuit dough.
