- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Remove the pizza dough from the can and unroll it onto a lightly floured surface.
- Cut the dough into 10 to 12 strips, about 1 inch wide.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and salt to make the garlic butter.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over both sides of each dough strip.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
- Place the breadstick strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
- Air fry for 5 to 7 minutes, flipping them halfway through cooking, until they are golden brown and crisp.
- Remove the breadsticks from the air fryer. If using, immediately sprinkle with Parmesan cheese while they are hot.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, ensure the breadsticks are not touching in the air fryer basket during cooking.
- If you prefer a softer breadstick, reduce the cooking time by 1 minute.
- You can use store-bought bread dough instead of pizza dough for a slightly different texture.
