Ingredients
Scale
1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
4 slices bacon, chopped
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Place the chopped bacon in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the basket.
Add the seasoned Brussels sprouts to the air fryer basket with the bacon fat. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the sprouts are tender and slightly charred.
In a small bowl, combine the cooked bacon and maple syrup.
Add the maple bacon mixture to the air fryer basket with the Brussels sprouts. Toss gently to coat.
Air fry for another 2-3 minutes, until the glaze is sticky and caramelized.
Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra crispy bacon, you can cook it separately in a pan before adding it to the air fryer.
Adjust the amount of maple syrup to your preference for sweetness.
You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a touch of heat.
