Ingredients
Scale
1.5 lbs salmon fillets, skin on or off
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch of salt
Pinch of black pepper
Instructions
Pat the salmon fillets very dry with paper towels. This helps the glaze stick and the salmon cook perfectly.
In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder.
Lightly season the salmon with salt and pepper.
Brush half of the maple glaze mixture evenly over the top of the salmon fillets.
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
Place the salmon in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the basket.
Air fry for 8 to 12 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets. Check for doneness around the 8-minute mark. The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
During the last 2 minutes of cooking, brush the remaining glaze over the salmon.
Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately. Enjoy your flavorful salmon!
Notes
For extra flavor, you can garnish with fresh chopped parsley or a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving.
If your salmon is very thick, you may need to increase the cooking time slightly.
Using skin-on salmon helps keep the fillets moist during air frying.
