Make your mornings simple with this easy, no-bake Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats recipe. It is perfect for meal prepping and delivers cozy, apple pie-like flavor while keeping you full.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy like almond or soy)
  • 1/2 cup finely diced apple (about 1 small apple)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a jar or container with a lid, combine the rolled oats and chia seeds.
  2. Add the milk, diced apple, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt to the container.
  3. Stir all ingredients well until everything is fully mixed. Make sure the chia seeds are not clumped at the bottom.
  4. Seal the container and place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
  5. In the morning, stir the oats again. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash more milk until you reach your preferred consistency.
  6. Eat cold directly from the jar. Add extra cinnamon or chopped nuts on top if desired.

Notes

  • For a thicker, higher-protein option, substitute half the milk with plain Greek yogurt.
  • If you want a stronger apple flavor that tastes like apple pie, add 1 tablespoon of unsweetened applesauce with the wet ingredients.
  • These oats keep well in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, making them excellent for grab and go breakfast jars.
