Prepare juicy, flavorful baked ranch chicken breasts with minimal effort. This recipe uses simple ingredients for a fast weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for crust)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the dry ranch seasoning mix and the mayonnaise until fully mixed.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spread the ranch mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast.
  5. If using, sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the ranch coating.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra moisture, you can use chicken thighs instead of breasts; adjust baking time as needed.
  • If you prefer a crispier topping without Parmesan, bake the chicken uncovered for the last 5 minutes.
  • Serve this dish with roasted vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
