1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
12 slider buns
1/4 cup butter, melted
Special Sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1/4 teaspoon paprika

Shredded lettuce
Diced pickles
Thinly sliced cheddar cheese
Thinly sliced white onion
Instructions
In a bowl, mix ground beef, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Form into 12 small patties.
Cook patties in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through.
While patties cook, prepare the special sauce by whisking together mayonnaise, relish, mustard, vinegar, and paprika.
Split slider buns and lightly toast the cut sides.
Assemble the sliders: Spread special sauce on the bottom bun. Add a patty, shredded lettuce, diced pickles, cheese, and sliced onion. Top with the other half of the bun.
Brush the tops of the assembled sliders with melted butter.
Arrange sliders on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until cheese is melted and buns are golden.
Notes
You can prepare the special sauce ahead of time.
For easier serving, you can bake the sliders in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
