- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Butter a 9-inch pie plate or a similar-sized shallow baking dish.
- Arrange the pitted cherries evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the sugar, flour, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs until lightly beaten.
- Gradually whisk the milk into the eggs.

- Stir in the vanilla extract, almond extract, and melted butter.
- Pour the batter evenly over the cherries in the baking dish.

Notes
- You can use frozen cherries, but thaw them first and drain any excess liquid.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of sugar based on the sweetness of your cherries.
