- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts
- 12 mini peanut butter cups
- 12 pretzel sticks
- Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
- Stir in chopped hazelnuts.
- Spoon a small amount of chocolate mixture into the bottom of each mini peanut butter cup to act as ‘glue’.
- Press one end of a pretzel stick into the chocolate mixture in each peanut butter cup.
- Place the peanut butter cups on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm.
- Once firm, use the remaining chocolate mixture to ‘glue’ the pretzel sticks to the sides of the peanut butter cups, forming the sleigh shape.
- Chill again until the chocolate is completely set.
Notes
- You can use any type of chocolate you prefer, such as milk, dark, or white chocolate.
- Experiment with different nuts like almonds or walnuts if hazelnuts are not available.
- For a variation, you can use small candy canes instead of pretzel sticks.
