Ingredients
Scale
1 large strawberry, halved (for the star)
1 bunch green grapes
1 bunch red grapes
1 pint raspberries
1 pint blueberries
1 pint blackberries
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for thinning chocolate)
Instructions
Wash and thoroughly dry all the fruit.
Arrange the green grapes on a large platter or cutting board in a triangular shape to form the base of the tree.
Continue layering green grapes, building up the tree shape.
Add clusters of raspberries and blueberries to fill in gaps and add color.
Place red grapes strategically to mimic ornaments.
Add blackberries for darker accents.
Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Stir in coconut oil if the chocolate is too thick.
Drizzle the melted chocolate over the fruit tree using a spoon or a piping bag.
Top the tree with the halved strawberry for a shining star.
Serve immediately.
Notes
Feel free to use any of your favorite fruits.
For a thicker drizzle, omit the coconut oil.
To make ahead, prepare the fruit and melt the chocolate separately. Assemble and drizzle just before serving.
