Ingredients
Scale
1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1-2 tablespoons milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a loaf pan or a bundt pan.
In a small bowl, combine granulated sugar and cinnamon.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
Dip each triangle into the melted butter, then into the cinnamon-sugar mixture, coating both sides.
In another small bowl, combine the brown sugar and chopped pecans (if using).
Layer the coated crescent roll triangles in the prepared pan, sprinkling some of the brown sugar mixture between layers.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
While the bread is baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add more milk or powdered sugar as needed to reach desired consistency.
Once the bread is out of the oven, let it cool slightly in the pan before inverting it onto a wire rack.
Drizzle the glaze over the warm pull-apart bread.
Notes
For an extra moist bread, you can brush the tops with melted butter after baking.
Feel free to add a pinch of nutmeg to the cinnamon sugar mixture for added warmth.
