Make a homemade version of the popular Starbucks Mango Dragonfruit Refresher using accessible ingredients that match the original flavor and bright color.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup white grape juice concentrate (thawed)
  • 1/4 cup mango nectar or puree
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk (canned or carton)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dragon fruit powder or 1 tablespoon dragon fruit puree (for color and flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar or sweetener to taste
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup frozen or fresh diced mango and dragon fruit pieces (optional inclusions)

Instructions

  1. Combine the water, white grape juice concentrate, mango nectar, coconut milk, dragon fruit powder or puree, and sugar in a shaker or jar.
  2. Stir or shake well until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture is uniform in color. Taste the mixture and add more sweetener if needed to match your preferred sweetness level.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the liquid mixture over the ice.
  5. If using, gently stir in the diced mango and dragon fruit pieces.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a stronger tropical flavor, substitute the white grape juice with pineapple juice.
  • To achieve the vibrant pink color without artificial dye, use a high-quality dragon fruit powder or puree.
  • If you want a caffeinated version, add 1/4 cup of strongly brewed green tea concentrate to the liquid base before shaking.
