Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place the cubed sirloin steak into the basin of your crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the steak evenly with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss gently to coat the meat.

  4. Cover the crockpot and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours, or on HIGH for 2 hours, until the steak is tender.
  5. About 15 minutes before serving, prepare the garlic butter sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

  8. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the steak bites. Toss gently to coat.
  9. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving immediately over mashed potatoes or rice.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can sear the steak cubes in a hot skillet for 1-2 minutes per side before adding them to the slow cooker.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold water and stir it into the broth in the crockpot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  • This recipe works well with sirloin or tenderloin cuts for the best results.
