Make a quick, creamy Caesar dressing using Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a lower-fat, higher-protein option.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (2% or full fat)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 anchovy fillets, mashed (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons water (or more, for thinning)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Place the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, mashed anchovies (if using), Parmesan cheese, pepper, and salt into a small bowl.
  2. Whisk all ingredients together until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Add water one tablespoon at a time, whisking after each addition, until you reach your desired dressing consistency.
  4. Taste the dressing and add more salt, pepper, or lemon juice if needed.
  5. Cover the dressing and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

  • This dressing works well as a dip for raw vegetables or as a topping for grilled chicken.
  • You can store this dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days.
  • For a gluten-free version, confirm your Worcestershire sauce does not contain gluten.
