Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Mix well.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Season each fillet lightly with salt and pepper.
Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add 1/4 teaspoon of dried Italian seasoning to the butter mixture.
If you want to cook vegetables alongside the salmon, add asparagus or broccoli florets to the baking sheet and toss them lightly in some of the extra garlic butter sauce.
To keep the salmon moist, avoid overcooking; check for doneness around the 12-minute mark.
