Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked ham, finely chopped or ground
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Place the chopped or ground ham in a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Add the mayonnaise, chopped celery, pickle relish, mustard, onion powder, pepper, and salt to the bowl.
  3. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly until well combined and creamy.
  4. Taste the salad and adjust salt or pepper if needed.
  5. Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

  • For a tangier flavor, substitute sweet relish with dill pickle relish.
  • If you prefer a smoother texture, pulse the ham mixture briefly in a food processor before mixing in the remaining ingredients.
  • This salad keeps well in the refrigerator for up to four days.
