Make this easy, no-bake Italian Hoagie Dip for your next gathering. It combines classic Italian deli flavors into a creamy, spreadable appetizer perfect for crackers or vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 8 ounces shredded provolone cheese
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced salami, chopped
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced ham, chopped
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced pepperoni, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth.
  2. Add the shredded provolone cheese, chopped salami, ham, and pepperoni to the bowl. Stir well to combine the meats and cheese base.
  3. Mix in the red onion, green bell pepper, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Stir until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  4. Taste the dip and add salt and pepper as needed.
  5. Cover the bowl and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving. This allows the flavors to blend.
  6. Serve cold with sturdy crackers, crostini, or vegetable sticks.

Notes

  • For a tangier flavor, substitute 1 tablespoon of the mayonnaise with Dijon mustard.
  • If you prefer a baked version, transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish, top with extra provolone, and bake at 375°F for 15 minutes until bubbly.
  • You can serve this as a ‘Hoagie Salad’ by layering the mixture in a trifle dish and serving with lettuce.
