  4. Layer half of the ice cream mixture into a loaf pan or airtight container.
  5. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the layer and sprinkle with half of the crushed graham crackers.
  6. Add the chopped cooked apples over the graham cracker layer.
  7. Spoon the remaining ice cream mixture on top.
  8. Drizzle with the remaining caramel sauce and sprinkle with the remaining graham crackers.
  9. Cover and freeze for at least 6 hours, or until firm.
  10. Let the ice cream sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping.

Notes

  • You can use store-bought cooked apples or cook your own. If cooking your own, peel, core, and chop 2 medium apples. Cook them with a tablespoon of butter and a pinch of cinnamon until tender.
  • Adjust the amount of caramel sauce and graham crackers to your preference.
  • For a stronger apple pie flavor, you can add a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg to the chopped apples.
