Make these simple, fudgy Oreo balls using only three ingredients. This no-bake recipe is quick to prepare and perfect for holidays or parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 16 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. Place the entire package of Oreo cookies into a food processor. Pulse until the cookies form fine crumbs.
  2. Transfer the cookie crumbs to a medium bowl. Add the softened cream cheese. Mix with a rubber spatula or clean hands until the mixture is fully combined and forms a dough.
  3. Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill the Oreo balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm them up.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Return the coated balls to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Refrigerate the finished Oreo balls for at least 1 hour, or until the chocolate shell is firm before serving.

Notes

  • For a different flavor, use Golden Oreos or Mint Oreos instead of the original chocolate sandwich cookies.
  • If you do not have a food processor, place cookies in a sturdy zip-top bag and crush them thoroughly with a rolling pin.
  • If the chocolate mixture is too thick to dip easily, add 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil or shortening to the melted chocolate to thin it slightly.
