Indulge in these rich, chewy peanut butter fudge brownies, a perfect blend of chocolatey goodness and creamy peanut butter.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Spread half of the brownie batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter over the batter.
  8. Carefully spread the remaining brownie batter over the peanut butter. You can swirl the peanut butter into the batter with a knife or toothpick if desired.
  9. Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top, if using.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs attached.
  11. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For an extra fudgy brownie, use good quality cocoa powder.
  • Ensure your peanut butter is at room temperature for easier swirling.
  • Store cooled brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
