Ingredients
Scale
1 cup plain Greek yogurt (2% or full fat for best texture)
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (whey or casein blend works well)
2 tablespoons sweetener (erythritol, monk fruit, or maple syrup)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, almond milk, protein powder, sweetener, vanilla extract, and salt.
Whisk the mixture thoroughly until it is completely smooth and there are no lumps of protein powder remaining. You want a thick, pourable consistency.
Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container, like a loaf pan or a small plastic tub. Cover the container tightly with a lid or plastic wrap.
Place the container in the freezer for at least 6 hours, or until firm.
For the best texture, remove the container from the freezer 10 to 15 minutes before serving to allow it to soften slightly. Scoop and enjoy your high-protein dessert.
Notes
For an even creamier texture, you can use a hand mixer or immersion blender to whip the base before freezing.
If you prefer a thicker base, reduce the almond milk to 1/3 cup.
This recipe avoids banana, making it suitable for those who dislike that flavor in their frozen treats.
