2 cups fresh raspberries
1 tablespoon powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Edible rose petals for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the tart dough and blind bake it according to your preferred recipe. Let it cool completely.
Prepare the rose pastry cream, ensuring the rosewater is well incorporated. Let it chill until firm.
Once the tart shell is cool and the pastry cream is set, gently spread the rose pastry cream evenly into the cooled tart shell.
Arrange the fresh raspberries on top of the pastry cream.
If desired, lightly dust the tart with powdered sugar and garnish with edible rose petals.
Chill the tart for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
Ensure your tart dough is fully blind-baked and cooled to prevent a soggy bottom.
Chill the pastry cream thoroughly so it holds its shape when filling the tart.
Use good quality rosewater for the best floral flavor.
