A spicy tuna wrap is a flavorful and quick meal. It combines tender tuna with creamy mayonnaise, a kick of sriracha or chili paste, and fresh vegetables, all rolled up in a soft tortilla. It’s a perfect option for lunch or a light dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (5 ounces) tuna, drained
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1-2 teaspoons sriracha or chili paste, or to taste
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 2 large whole wheat tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup sliced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced cucumber

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, and sriracha or chili paste.
  2. Add the chopped celery and red onion to the tuna mixture.
  3. Stir everything together until well combined.
  4. Lay a tortilla flat.
  5. Spoon half of the tuna salad mixture down the center of the tortilla.
  6. Top the tuna salad with half of the shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and sliced cucumber.
  7. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then tightly roll it up from the bottom.
  8. Cut the wrap in half, if desired, and serve immediately.
  9. Repeat with the second tortilla.

Notes

  • For a milder spice, start with less sriracha or chili paste and add more to your preference.
  • You can add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots.
  • If you don’t have tortillas, you can serve the tuna salad on lettuce wraps or with crackers.
