Make this quick, refreshing watermelon strawberry smoothie for a light and hydrating summer drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups cubed fresh watermelon, chilled
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup cold water or coconut water
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chilled watermelon cubes, frozen strawberries, cold water, and lime juice into your blender.
  2. Add the optional sweetener if you prefer a sweeter taste.
  3. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
  4. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more water and blend again briefly.
  5. Pour immediately into glasses and serve cold.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, use frozen watermelon instead of fresh, or add 1/4 cup of plain Greek yogurt if you are not making a vegan version.
  • For a colder drink, freeze your watermelon cubes ahead of time.
  • This recipe is naturally sweet, so taste before adding any extra sweetener.
